You can rebid on Priceline right away if you are another person. Priceline don’t have to know it is the same bid if you use the second person to rebid. This will only work if you would be traveling with at least one more person (needing a bid winner’s ID to check in). It is not easy to fool Priceline. Simply using a different name and credit card won’t do. You have to employ a dramatic tactic. Here is how:
Place the rebiding using a different…
- computer, or another browser on the same computer
- address (or same address, different zip code)
- phone number (use each person cell phone number)
- e-mail address
- name
- credit card number
This works very well when bidding in a last-minute on the road.
Group travelers maybe able to bid more than twice.
You can use a business credit card to use a different address.
It works for me once so I don’t know in and out of it yet. Please drop me a line if you find a better tactic.

Free rebids or permutation bidding is the most complex, yet most powerful concept in helping with Priceline hotels bidding. In the most basic form, we add free zones to our bid knowing that it won’t change the result because these zone we added has no star level that we are bidding. The complex free rebids involve closing a browser or deselect some of previous free rebid zones to maximized our rebids.
A free rebidding zone or a free rebid zone is the zone with only lower star rating than what we are bidding. It is just a redundant added to our bid that won’t change the result. It simply allow us to rebid higher right away, not have to wait 24 hours per Priceline rule. Continue Reading »

Don’t get lost to Priceline regular hotel reservation system. You want the ‘Name your own price‘ section to bid for hotels.
We will get back to Priceline regular hotel reservation system to see which hotels we are likely to get and what price should be bid.

To quickly gauge how much you should bid for hotels on Priceline, use the “Click Here” link
Use Click here link on the right side of Name your own price yellow box to see full price
Next you will see the price of hotel in all areas
See lowest full price for hotels in each area by their star-rating
Click on the area you are bidding on to see the hotels you are likely to get
Click on one of the price and you will see all the candidates for the star-rating and area that you choose. Hotels without star-rating are not a candidate.
Since the lowest price for a three-star hotel in this area is $169. I would bid for roughly half of that or $160/2 = $80
